According to Times Higher Education (THE), University stays atop private institutions in south of Brazil
The new edition of ranking Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies University Rankings 2019 features PUCRS as the best private institution in the south of Brazil and in the top 3 of private institutions in the country in a list that includes universities from emerging economies. PUCRS ranks 2nd among federal and private institutions in Brazil in the category industry income and #1 in the category citations in Brazil
The list features 442 universities from 43 countries. Brazil is the Latin American country with most universities in the ranking – 36 institutions. The Times Higher Education is one of the most important world-level higher education indicators and uses 13 performance indicators, as it looks at the strengths of each university in relation to all of their main activities: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international perspectives.
