October event addresses student involvement in Higher Education
PUCRS will be hosting the 5th Iberoamerican Congress of University Teaching: “Student Involvement in Higher Education”, from Oct 30 to Nov 1, 2018, at the Commencement Hall (Building 4) and at Building 50. The event will foster an exchange of ideas and experiences about university life and quality teaching involving an international and interdisciplinary audience.
The Scientific Commission includes representatives from Universities in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Peru and Portugal. The program features conferences, roundtables, symposia and cultural activities on Higher Education enrollment and loyalty, internationalization, digital technologies, innovation, diversity and inclusion, among others.
At the event, Prof. Dr Miguel Angel Zabalza Beraza, president of the Iberoamerican Association of University Teaching (AIDU), will be awarded a Honorary Degree. The event is organized by PUCRS with the support of the Higher Education Study Center (CEES/PUCRS) and is brought to you by AIDU.
