Management Committee and Coordinators join forces to analyze PUCRS-PrInt developments

New CAPES guidelines and upcoming calls under discussion

August was marked by a number of meetings in support of the Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt). The meetings discussed the progress of the project in 2019, as well as new CAPES guidelines for CAPES-PRINT projects. Quantitative performance indicators and priority themes as well as information on the new PUCRS-PrInt eligibility criteria (4th Call) were addressed in the meetings.

On Aug 19, the meeting of the Management Committee featured PUCRS-PrItnt Manager, Dr Carla Bonan, the Director of Graduate Programs, Dr Christian Kristensen, the Director of Research, Dr Fernanda Morrone as well as Dr Renato Stein, Dr Roberto Reis and Dr Sandra Einloft. Dr Matteo Reorda, the committee’s international member, made his presence felt through Skype.

From Aug 27 – 29, the coordinators of the PUCRS-PrInt cooperation projects joined forces in a series of thematic meetings. On Aug 27, Dr Cristiano Bizarro, Dr Rita Mattiello, Dr Maria Martha Campos and Dr Carla Schwanke discussed the projects in the area Health in Human Development.

On Aug 27, Dr Sandro Bonatto, Dr Luiz Gustavo Fernandes, Dr Fabian Vargas and Dr Eduardo Cassel (represented by Dr Carlos Alexandre dos Santos) joined forces to discuss the projects in the area Technology and Biodiversity: Sustainability, Energy and the Environment. Lastly, on the 29th, Dr Alexandre Anselmo, Ruth Gauer and Edimara Luciano (represented by Stefânia Almeida) analyzed the current scenario of the project World in Motion: Individuals and Society.

The meetings were conducted by Dr Monica Vianna, PROPESQ’s Director of International Projects.
