Ethics

The University counts with a Research Ethics Committee. Every students’ project can only be initiated with the approval of CEP following the recent official norms. The Postgraduate Program, as well as the Institution, aims to promote that all academic and research activities include ethical and integrity values. To achieve this, the Course counts with discipline in Ethics and Bioethics for postgraduate students, a great number of DPs are members of the Research Ethics Committee of PUCRS (Coordinated by our professor Denise Cantarelli Machado) and promotes courses on this subject as International Course on Research Integrity and Ethics along with the Dean’s Office of Research, Innovation and Development – PROPESQ.
