Project presentation:
The project aims to expand knowledge about the formation of Pre-salt reservoirs and how they evolved from sedimentary and volcanic processes that occurred during the rifting and opening of the Atlantic Ocean, building upon the results obtained in the PREVISAL project. In this project, experimental and numerical modeling of interactions between basement rocks and different hydrothermal fluids will be conducted, along with the study of the influence of biotic processes on the formation of the primary mineralogical assemblage of these reservoirs.
