Project presentation:
The project allowed the evaluation of the existence of reservoirs for gas hydrates in the Rio Grande Cone, Pelotas Basin, as well as the study of forms of dissociation for the production of this gas. It was possible to understand the potential geological risks (geohazards) related to the destabilization of the sedimentary package associated, for example, with possible activities of exploration and production of conventional oil in the Pelotas Basin.
