Newcastle University Professor discusses internationalization at home

Event offered in support of the Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt)

On May 7, Newcastle University professor, Dr Sue Robson, will be coming to PUCRS to deliver the workshop Internationalization at Home – I@H: Perspectives for Undergraduate Studies. The activity will be offered at no charge and is promoted by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies (Propesq). Robson will be coming to the University as a Visiting Professor under the scope of the Institutional Project of Internationalization  (PUCRS-PrInt) and will be talking about internationalization at home, theories and practices.

The workshop is intended to discuss internationalization practices with a focus on research networks in the UK and Brazil and to strengthen cooperation, production and dissemination of knowledge about internationalization of higher education. The event has been designed for teachers, students and a wide variety of audiences. It begins at 8:30 AM until 5 PM, at the auditorium of Building 9. About Sue Robson

Sue Robson is a specialist in this field and has been working on a variety of international projects in the area. She serves as the main researcher for Erasmus+ -funded project named Approaches and Tools for Internationalization at Home and for the British Council training and internationalization program: Developing an institutional strategy and practical structure for curriculum internationalization. In support of this project, the British researcher came to PUCRS in 2017 to develop a training program coordinated in partnership with School of Humanities Professor Dr Marilia Morosini.
