Development of numerical models that simulate the probability of establishing favorable paleogeographic and paleoclimatic conditions for the deposition and preservation of sediments rich in organic matter in space and time, and consequently predict the occurrence of potential petroleum-bearing rocks;
The models serve as an auxiliary and exploratory tool for determining exploratory plays and the occurrence of hydrocarbons in marine sedimentary basins in the South Atlantic.
