Tests in Brazil in partnership with UL LLC will have range and worldwide recognition
The complex of Specialized Laboratories in electro-electronics of PUCRS -LABELO won, in dispute with other Brazilian laboratories, the right to provide testing services for Eletrobras. As from the elaboration of a strategy to compete, the LABELO succeeded in four of the six items that competed. “We elaborated a strategy contemplating the diverse variables of the system”, affirms the relationship and contract coordinator Anderson Bandeira.
Eletrobras published on its official website the Electronic Auction Bidding Announcement in November 2017. In it, explained how the process to select the contracting of laboratory testing services would work, with the objective of verifying if the products marketed continue to attend the criteria required in the concession of the Procel Stamp Energy Saving. Hence, the chosen company provides services including the acquisition of samples, laboratory tests and technical reports regarding the equipment participating in the Procel Stamp.
The strategy adopted by LABELO guaranteed success in the following lots: lamp, reactors, washing machines and air conditioners. Therewith, the LABELO carries out a market accompaniment, in order to guarantee that the society receives the confirmation that the product available in the store attends the one that was homologate in the past.
