Sustainability is a form of development that meets present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to fulfill their own needs. In line with the University’s mission to “produce and disseminate knowledge and promote human and professional development” – the desire arose to pursue a more sustainable society, which, allied to large institutional space and to the Pró-Mata Center for Research and Nature Conservation, has led to the creation of the environmental education axis.
