Mission

IMA’s mission is to promote environmental sustainability, either through direct conservation of natural heritage through the RPPN Pró-Mata or through research and extension actions that promote economic and social development for both present and future generations.

Vision

By 2026, IMA will be a reference in the environmental field in Brazil, recognized for developing and leading high-relevance research and actions in the pursuit of environmental conservation and sustainable development.
