Introduction

Graduated in Industrial Chemistry, with a master's and doctoral degree in Materials Engineering and Technology, all from PUCRS, and an MBA in Data Science and Analytics from USP/Esalq, my professional journey began at PUCRS as a Research Assistant in 2015. Currently, I hold the position of Specialist Researcher at the Institute of Petroleum and Natural Resources (IPR) at PUCRS. I actively manage and coordinate the Low Carbon and Hydrogen Technology Laboratory at IPR/PUCRS, as well as leading Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) projects in collaboration with Oil and Gas (O&G) companies. My research areas encompass: Advanced and Intelligent Materials, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Technologies, Low Carbon and Net Zero Emissions Strategies, Hydrogen Technologies, Development of Drop-in Biofuels, Lubricants, and E-fuels, with a special focus on Experimental Technology Validation, Multivariate Data Analysis, Computational Chemical Modeling, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of products and processes
