Introduction

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the Lutheran University of Brazil (2000), a specialization in Exercise Physiology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002), a Master's degree in Human Movement Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2005), a Ph.D. in Human Movement Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2011), and an MBA in Management, Innovation, and Health Services from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2023). He is currently a full professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, teaching undergraduate courses in physical education and graduate programs in dentistry and biomedical gerontology. He is the coordinator of the health innovation and life sciences hub at the Science and Technology Park of PUCRS (Tecnopuc) and the coordinator of specialization courses in biomechanics and healthy aging at the School of Health and Life Sciences.
