Introduction

I am an agrochemical agroindustrial engineer who has been interested in environmental issues since my undergraduate studies. I hold a master's and a Ph.D. in materials engineering and technology, with a focus on environmental impact mitigation. Additionally, I have a technical background in biofuels. I have some brief experience in the food industry, particularly in good manufacturing practices. Over the past few years, I have been engaged in environmental research, specifically concentrating on the mitigation of environmental impacts. My studies are primarily related to the management of urban solid waste in landfills and sustainable waste treatment using energy generation technologies. I worked as a research assistant in a chemical analysis laboratory for approximately three years, gaining expertise in analytical techniques such as gas chromatography, isotopic mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis, as well as physical-chemical analyses. I also took on responsibilities related to laboratory organization and management, report writing, and methodology development. I participated in training focused on implementing ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17034 standards and conducted audits related to these standards. Currently, I am a researcher and, in addition to assisting with laboratory-related tasks, I am working in the field of life cycle analysis. I have received training in the SimaPro technique and software and am specializing as a researcher in this area.
