Introduction

Graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil, in 1989. Graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil, in 1986. Master's degree in Dentistry (Oral Diagnosis) from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil, in 2000. PhD in Oral Medicine from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil (2006). She is currently an adjunct professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - School of Health Sciences – Member of the Coordinating Committee of the Dentistry Course – Advisor to the Coordination of Scientific Initiation – Research Directorate – Pro-Rectory of Research and Graduate Studies (PROPESQ). She has experience in the area of Dentistry, with emphasis in Dental Radiology, working mainly in the following subjects: dentistry, oral diagnosis, diagnostic imaging, digital radiographs, cone-beam computed tomography, education in Dentistry.
