Introduction

I hold a PhD in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation from the Postgraduate Program of the Hydraulic Research Institute (IPH/UFRGS). I completed a sandwich period at the Université de Genève, in Switzerland, as a PDSE Capes scholarship holder, where I developed studies with the Department F. A Forel for Environmental and Aquatic Science, in the Microbiology Laboratory, related to the GEISHA - Storm-Blitz project, which I have been a participant since 2016, developed by the Global Lake Ecological Observatory Network (GLEON) program on the impacts of storms on phytoplankton communities. I hold a Master’s degree in Biology, with an emphasis on Diversity and Wildlife Management, from the Postgraduate Program in Biology (UNISINOS/2012). I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (UNISINOS/2009/2). I completed a Postgraduate degree in Education specializing in Elementary School and High School teaching (2022/1). Recently, I carried out research on the structure and dynamics of the phytoplankton community at different temporal and spatial scales in limnic environments. Currently, I am involved in the Environmental Monitoring and Biotechnology Laboratory (LMA) at the Petroleum and Natural Resources Institute (IPR) - PUCRS, where I am engaged in studies focused on marine microalgae biotechnology and offshore operations in the petroleum industry.
