Introduction
Physiotherapist (URI). Currently a Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Medicine and the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Medicine and Child Health at PUCRS. Holds a Master's and Doctoral degree in Pediatric Medicine and Child Health (PUCRS). Researcher at the School of Medicine in the Respiratory Physiology Laboratory (PUCRS) and Editor-in-Chief of ACTA MÉDICA at PUCRS. Works as a Research Consultant at Hospital Moinhos de Vento (2022-2023). Serves as the Data Coordinator for the Brazilian Headache Registry (REBRACEF). Researcher for the international consortium "Mapping the Pediatric Inhalation Interface: Nose, Mouth, and Airways (MPII)" of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (2022); the "International Collaboration to Improve Respiratory Health in Children (INCIRCLE)/ERS Clinical Research Collaboration (2017-2022); and collaborator of the INFANT Foundation in advanced lung function. His main research areas include: Epidemiology of respiratory diseases; Nitric Oxide for interventions in viral respiratory infections and COVID-19; Clinical epidemiology; Advanced pulmonary function testing.
