Introduction
Lecturer of Sociology at the Graduate Program in Social Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), with a scholarship in Research Productivity from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq-Brazil). Graduation in Social Sciences from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2007), master's (2010) and PhD (2014) in Sociology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). During his PhD was Academic Visitor at the University of Oxford, UK (2012-2013), with a scholarship from CNPq. Has worked (2009-2014) as research assistant at the Metropolis Observatory (UFRJ), where he continues to act as a researcher. He is currently coordinator of the Brazilian Center for Research on Democracy (CBPD / PUCRS) and one of the editors of ?Sociologies in Dialogue?, journal of the Brazilian Sociological Society (SBS). He is also the coordinator of the SBS Stratification and Inequalities Research Group, and program coordinator of the International Sociological Association (ISA) Research Committee 07 (RC07 ? Future Research). Has experience in the area of Sociology, with emphasis on Social Stratification and Inequalities, working mainly with quantitative methodology. His publications, in journals, books and congresses of the area, deal with themes such as social classes, the Brazilian new middle class, income inequalities and educational inequalities.
