Introduction

Nutritionist. Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2006). Full Professor of the School of Health Sciences, in the undergraduate courses in Nutrition and Stricto sensu Post-Graduation in Psychology, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Associate Editor of Ciência e Saúde Magazine and Member of the Scientific Committee of the School of Health Sciences (PUCRS). Coordination of research groups: Lifestyle Modification and Cardiovascular Risk (MERC) and the Food Behavior group (GPCA), which studies the determinants of eating behavior and its interactions with the metabolic, cognitive, biological processes that sustain as well as the development of e-learning tools the transformation / translation of theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge, applicable in real context solutions. Interested in the areas of nutrition, eating behavior, cardiovascular risk, motivational interview and lifestyle.
