The Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Dr Adriana Kampff, and Professor Dr Marília Morosini took part in a mission, in Europe, in support of the Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt). In October, the School of Humanities professors conducted a technical visit to Newcastle University, UK, under the cooperation project “Human Development: knowledges and practices for a world in motion”, coordinated by Professor Dr Alexandre Guilherme.

In the UK, Adriana and Marília met with Professor Dr Sue Robson, with whom they have a consolidated research partnership in the area of Internationalization of Higher Education. Sue came to PUCRS in May, on PrInt, to deliver a workshop on the topic, for faculty and students from several parts of Brazil.

They also met with the Director of the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences of Newcastle University, Dr Julie Morris. The members of the British institution had the chance to learn more about PUCRS-PrInt opportunities and possibilities.

Adriana e Marília attended the seminar Internationalization of Higher Education: Enhancing Teaching and the Student Expericence, as they shared the initiatives and good practices of PUCRS. The Brazilian professors also attended a number of other meetings with Newcastle University faculty to advance new projects in partnership.
