Representatives of the Australian Embassy welcomed at President’s Office

On Tuesday, Sept 10, PUCRS welcomed the Counsellor for Education and Science of the Australian Embassy, Mathew Johnston, and the Manager for Education and Science, Cristina Elsner. The visitors attended a meeting at the President’s Office to initiate a project in partnership with the institution, to be announced shortly.

The meeting was attended by the Senior Vice President Dr Jaderson Costa da Costa, the Superintendent of Innovation Dr Jorge Audy, the Vice President of Undergraduate Studies and Continuing Education, Br. Manuir Mentges, the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, Dr Carla Bonan, the Executive Coordinator of the Office for International Cooperation  Carla Cassol and School of Humanities professor, Dr Marília Morosini.

For Cassol, the possibilities for cooperation with the country permeate different spheres and should be further explored from now on. “Because one of our goals is to be an international reference in higher education, the strategic cooperation with Australia is such a a unique opportunity, given the quality of the educational services in that country and the successful process of internationalization of education,” she says.
