School of Humanities professor, Dr. Marilia Morosini, is featured among the 100th most influential researchers in Education in Latin America, according to the Latin America Scientist and University Education Rankings 2022. She is also one of the top 50 scientists with most publications in the last 5 years. The ranking is developed by the AD Scientific Index, which presents the productivity of scientists and researchers from around the world based on Google Scholar, including total production, activity in the last five years and number of citations.

This ranking lists not only productive researchers, but also researchers with a high impact factor in a given area, discipline, university and country, and can serve as the foundations for the development of academic initiatives and policies. Morosini claims that this is such an important recognition for the School of Humanities, the Graduate Program in Education, and PUCRS.

“This position in the ranking reflects teamwork and a career of dedication to teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. It also reflects my productions as a researcher in Education and coordinator of the Higher Education Study Center at PUCRS”, she celebrates.
