About the AD Scientific Index

The AD Scientific Index is the first and only study that shows researchers’ total and five-year productivity coefficients based on Google Scholar scores and citations. This ranking lists not only productive researchers, but also researchers with a high impact factor in a given area, discipline, university and country, and can underlie the development of academic initiatives and policies.

“The ranking, in general, materializes the achievements I have had in my career as a researcher over the years. It is a recognition of a long journey of research in marketing. Unlike other classification systems widely used in academia, it emphasizes not only the productivity in number of articles in the researcher’s journals, but also its impact factor, that is, how much the research carried out by one author has been used by other researchers in their studies. I think this is what makes it such an important ranking as many scientists are engaged in evaluating scientific research by the impact it brings to society and the community, and not only by the number of publications.”
