During the last week, the Office for International Cooperation promoted two farewell events with the international students who were in academic mobility at PUCRS this semester, both virtually and on-site. 22 students in total were on campus, taking classes in different Schools, while 29 others took online classes during the second semester of 2022.

In the virtual event, Portuguese for Foreigners I and II professor Aline Evers prepared a cultural presentation with popular Brazilian songs, which they worked with during the semester. Students from Germany, Argentina, Bolivia, France and Peru were a part of the virtual mobility.

For the on-site farewell event, in the Living 360º Arena, the International Office prepared a video with pictures of some of the students’ moments on Campus and gave each of them a shirt. Executive coordinator Carla Bonan emphasized the importance of the students’ presence, contributing directly to the internationalization of the Campus and multicultural exchange. Students from Germany, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, South Korea, Spain, France and Mexico took part in the activity.
