New version of the program features language and cultural insights and integration activities
The Office for International Cooperation has remodeled the Portuguese language program that will be offered to international students in the second semester of 2018. The new program consists of 10 classes, and will be offered during the week that precedes the beginning of the academic semester, from Jul 16 – 27. It will feature language and cultural insights as well as integration activities to introduce students to the Main Campus.
In addition to the language to be taught, students will have the chance to ask questions about the academic aspects of PUCRS, learn the cultural aspects of Porto Alegre and Rio Grande do Sul and meet other academic mobility students. Dr Heloísa Delgado, Dean of International Cooperation, claims that this experience will provide students with cultural support during their stay at the University. It will also be useful for them to find out more about the things PUCRS has to offer.
The new program is at no charge for international students on mobility at PUCRS. Registration is required at the following email address [email protected]. Find out more about some of the activities of the program:

Tecnopuc’s Creativity Laboratory is an area in constant evolution devoted to instigating students’ creativity. One of the afternoons will be reserved for an exclusive activity for international students.
Another afternoon will be devoted to sports and integration of international students at PUCRS Sports Park..
