Rosane Souza da Silva is a Biologist and Doctor in Biochemistry. Works at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) since 2004 as a teacher, researcher and advisor to the scientific initiation coordinator. Teaching activities include graduate and undergraduate courses in the area of ​​Biochemistry. Leads the research group on Neurobehavioral Teratology and holds a Research Fellowship of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). The recent interest is the study of the basis of long-term neurochemical effects of early intervention on brain development, specifically linked to Purinergic system.
