Introduction

He holds a Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the 'Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense' (UNESC - 2007), a master's degree in Zoology from the 'Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul' (PUCRS - 2010) and a Ph.D. in Animal Biology from the `Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul' (UFRGS - 2014). He had been work as a technician specialized in the Research Program on South-Brazilian Savanna (aka. 'PPBio Campos Sulinos') (2014-2015) and as substitute professor at the 'Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina' (UFSC - 2015). Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the Science' School of the PUCRS, besides curator and researcher of the Laboratory of Arachnida and Myriapoda at the Science and Technology Museum (MCT-PUCRS). Having experience in the arachnology his main interests are taxonomy, phylogenetic systematics and biogeography of Thomisidae spiders.
