Introduction

Rafael Bordini is an associate professor at PUCRS since March 2012. He obtained a PhD in Computer Science from University College London in 1999. He is currently on a sabbatical leave funded by CAPES at the Universities of Genoa and Oxford. His main research interests are in programming languages and verification techniques for autonomous intelligent software systems, particularly multi-agent systems. He has published over 100 papers and has co-edited 2 books and 4 proceedings as well as co-authored a book about the Jason multi-agent development platform published by Wiley. Rafael Bordini was Programme Co-Chair forAAMAS-2015. He is in the editorial board of JAAMAS and has been SPC or PC for all the top conferences in AI and Multi-AgentSystems. He is an emeritus member of the IFAAMAS board of directors and of the EURAMAS board of directors.
