Introduction

Graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul with a master's degree in the same University. PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Barcelona, Spain. Currently has exclusive dedication and is a full professor of the School of Sciences of PUCRS. Coordinates the Laboratory of Research in Cell Biophysics and Inflammation where develops research on new therapies for inflammatory diseases. Is a master's and doctoral advisor in the postgraduate courses in Cellular and Molecular Biology of the Graduate School of Sciences in Medical Clinic-Health Sciences of the School of Medicine.
