Introduction

Graduated in Dentistry at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1995), Master's Degree in Operative Dentistry at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1998) and PhD in Dental Materials at State University of Campinas (2001). Post-doctoral in Biomaterials at Indiana University, USA.Full Professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, working with undergraduate and postgraduate students. Responsible for the Dental Materials disciplines at PUCRS Dental School. Responsible for the Dental Materials Laboratory of the School of Health Sciences - Dentistry Course.The main researches are related with the following topics: polymers, adhesives, ceramics and cements.
