Research Groups
A research group is the basic unit of research structures at PUCRS and is composed of other structures (nuclei, laboratories, centers and institutes). The group of researchers, undergraduate and graduate students and external contributors at PUCRS work together and share experiences to develop high-impact scientific, technological and artistic products and processes.
The quality and diversity of the research groups at PUCRS have led the University to achieve first place among private Brazilian institutions in the 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010 censuses of the CNPq Research Group Directory.
