Group as a renewed hope and citizenship
Abstract
This study makes a split in the story of group studies, in order to show the basic principles under operation in its functioning. It points out the materials that are produced through the dynamics of relationships, as the result of many and different interactions. At the same time, it calls attention to the importance of organized and emmergent small groups to constitute the network of relationships that contributes to establish and change society. Nine dimensions of group functioning in its happenings are analized in the light of the structure of group work environment. Finally, it emphasizes the renewed hope that belonging to a group can give to individual people in their commitment toward others to strength citizenship.
