Funding Opportunities

 The Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt) offers the following types of funding opportunities:

Scholarships abroad

  • Sandwich Doctorate scholarship – ment for Ph.D students enrolled in PUCRS Graduate Programs to study abroad during 6 to 12 months;
  • Senior Visiting Professor Abroad (former Senior Scholarship Abroad with HEI employment relationship) – ment for PUCRS professors related to PUCRS Graduate Programs to stay in a relevant university abroad for teaching and research during 3 to 12 months;
  • Junior Visiting Professor Abroad (former Post-Doctorate with HEI employment relationship) – ment for PUCRS professors related to PUCRS Graduate Programs to stay in a relevant university abroad for teaching and research during 3 to 12 months;
  • Training Program for Ph.D students enrolled in PUCRS Graduate Programs to attend short courses or summer/winter schools abroad as well as to participate in e-learning education (MOOCs in Brazil, etc.) during 1 to 3 months;

 

Scholarships in Brazil

  • Visiting Professor in Brazil – intended to attract foreign resident reputable acting professors to deliver courses, trainings, give lectures and hold seminars during at least 15 days and up to 12 months, which may be divided into 3 periods during the Institutional Project of Internationalization;
  • Young Talent with Experience Abroad – intended to attract young talented researches, necessarily living abroad, with relevant international scientific-academic experience (such as completed full master or doctorate courses or sandwich degrees with at least 12 months abroad) for research activities during 6 to 36 months;
  • Postdoctoral Researcher with Experience Abroad – intended to attract experienced researchers and professors, necessarily living abroad, with relevant international scientific-academic experience (such as completed full master or doctorate courses or sandwich degrees with at least 12 months abroad) for teaching and research activities during 6 to 36 months;

 

Other opportunities

Overseas Working Missions – in the context of the Cooperation Projects or individual missions, including travel allowances, allowances for daily expenses during 7 to 20 days and health insurance allowances.
