PUCRS’ Graduate Program in Letters  is receiving visiting professor Anna Caballé Masforroll, from Universitat de Barcelona, to teach a course on ethics, genre and autobiography from July 17-28. The course is at no charge and geared to Letters graduate students.

Anna, who co-advises graduate students, has been here before. In 2015, she visited the University for four months in order to work on her research, teach a course on the same topic she is teaching this time, but with a different focus, and co-advised a PhD student.

Widely acclaimed for her PhD dissertation on La literatura autobiográfica en España (1939-1975), she is the head of the Unit for Biographic Studies , a research center sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain , and by a Catalonian agency. Many articles and papers draw insights from her specialty: autobiographical writing.
