South Atlantic formation with the separation of American and African continents
The PaleoProspec project is a joint initiative between Cepac, the Faculty of Computer Science at PUCRS and Petrobras, that aims to optimize fossil fuel prospection in the South Atlantic coast, by means of paloegraphic and paleoclimatic models that allow to identify regions with higher probabilities of hydrocarbon generation in the geologic past.
