“The refugees crisis relates to how much cruelty modern society is capable of allowing or avoiding.” This was one of the remarks made by German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk in an interview for the next issue of PUCRS Magazine. The day after attending Fronteiras do Pensamento, he came to PUCRS to deliver a lecture, under the coordination of Professor Nythamar Oliveira, from the School of Humanities (PUCRS – Escola de Humanidades). Sloterdijk is known as one of the most innovative figures of current philosophy. PUCRS is a cultural partner of Fronteiras Do Pensamento.
