The Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt) gives doctoral students the chance to have an international experience from 6 to 12 months in an institution outside of Brazil. In 2020, 12 students from different graduate programs headed to the project’s partner institutions abroad.

The way Carolina Luft, a doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology sees it, the international experience will have an impact on her doctoral dissertation, especially since the University of Barcelona, the student’s host institution, is one of the most prestigious institutions in Europe. “We are looking for scientific developments and the consolidation of a partnership with excellent perspectives for the development of joint projects”, she adds.
