Max Planck Institute pays PUCRS a visit

The leader of the Max Planck Institute for Latin America, based in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Andrea Trepte, was welcomed at the Great Hall of the President’s Office on Jul 2, by the President Br. Dr Evilázio Teixeira, the Vice President Dr Jaderson Costa da Costa and the Superintendent for Innovation and Development of PUCRS, Dr Jorge Audy. On his two-day visit to the University, he visited the Brain Institute of RS (BraIns), the laboratories of the School of Health Sciences and the Science and Technology Park of PUCRS (Tecnopuc).

Trepte also joined a meeting with the president of the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate-level Education(Capes)Dr Abílio Baeta Neves, and with the Director of International Cooperation of Capes, Dr Concepta Pimentel. His visit may serve to foster scientific collaboration agreements as may be required by the institute.
