The  Science and Technology Museum of PUCRS (MCT) has put together a special program filled with science and fun to celebrate its re-opening. Some changes have been made in order to make the life of the visitors better. One of the attractions is the exhibit Matter and Energy, which has been remodeled and now features interactive experiments and pieces of collection Mineralogy of the Museum. The exhibit epitomizes the International Year of Periodic Table. The year has been institutionalized by the United Nations (UN) to advance its popularization.

The Museum is open from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
