Book by Luiz Antonio de Assis Brasil embodies 34 years of experience at the Literary Writing Workshop
Writer and School of Humanities Professor Luiz Antonio de Assis Brasil, is releasing the book Escrever ficção: Um manual de criação literária (Writing fiction: A literary writing manual guide), on Mar 25, at 7:30 PM, at the Institute of Culture of PUCRS (Av. Ipiranga, 6681 – Porto Alegre), on the 7th level of the Ir. José Otão Main Library. His book epitomizes his 34 years of experience as a faculty in the Literary Writing Workshop of PUCRS.
As a fiction writer connecting with other fiction writers, Assis Brasil enlists the essential tools for the development of a writer. He also stresses the role of reading literature for those who wish to write – these are the major works he addresses in his programs. The book features the collaboration of local writer and Assis Brasil’s former student Luís Roberto Amabile.
