01/24/2012 - CEPAC researchers are participating in an ocean survey trip in the Southern Atlantic, near Rio Grande (Brazilian coast). Researchers are aboard the Rig Support vessel, mapping the seabottom with an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). The visit is sponsored by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and lead by Prof. Toru Sato, from Tokyo University. The delegates will participate in a workshop with CEPAC researchers.
